Trying to maintain a vegetable garden with water restrictions and both of us working fulltime was becoming increasingly difficult. 1Aquaponics have provided us with our ultimate solution - no weeding! Quick growing organic vegetable garden and fish to eat, reducing our grocery bill. No water wastage as the fish and plants use the same water. Garden beds at working height. We are becoming more self sufficient with minimal work and our friends are enjoying coming over for fresh food and to look at the fish!

It can be very hot and dry where I live, so growing veggies in the ground is very wasteful of water. Aquaponics was the solution to our problem. I called #1 Aquaponics to see if they could help me with fingerlings, food for them and advice on how to keep them alive and growing well. I was supplied with Silver Perch fingerlings at a very reasonable price in all the correct packaging so they would survive the 2.5 hour journey home on a hot day. I was also supplied with fish food at a reasonable price and given great advice on how to keep the fish. My fish are growing well and my growbeds are also benefitting from the fish waste. It was a great experience dealing with the team at #1Aquaponics!

I'm very happy with the level of service and expertise shown by 1Aquaponics. 1Aquaponics not only saved me money by suggesting appropriate hardware to purchase for my needs but showed a combination of Aquaculture and Aquaponics knowledge which was just what I needed. They were able to get industry standard aquaculture tanks and install them for me at short notice, which for me was critical since my existing  "cheap" solution had developed a serious leak. They also provided helpful advice and suggestions to resolve issues that had little if anything to do with the actual hardware purchased. I'd definitely purchase more equipment from 1Aquaponics.

The tour gave a great overview of how aquaculture & horticulture can come together in aquaponics. Excellent. (also enabled us access to properties on the tour that we could not visit individually).

The Aquaponics tour is a must do for anyone interested in the environment, aquaculture, horticulture and sustainability. The tour gets you thinking outside the square and away from current non-sustainable methods of producing food. There is no doubt this is the future of farming and food production worldwide.

People need to be better educated on where our food is coming from and the unnecessary chemicals and wastage associated with main stream food production. This basic introduction into Aquaponics has you thinking about where the food on your plate is coming from.

Strongly recommended.
